Learn what happens during sign-in and how the system decides which verification method you use.
WeaSSO reuses a valid browser session when it can. When you do need to sign in again, you first identify yourself and then prove that it is really you.
Sign-in has two steps
Section titled “Sign-in has two steps”- Identify yourself: enter the login name your organization gave you in Login Name, then select Next.
- Verify: the system takes you to a verification page. Complete it and you return to the original app.
If one session is still active, WeaSSO may reuse it and skip part of these steps. If you have several saved accounts, the account chooser appears first. When you do have to verify, the page you get can differ by account, device, and app.
Your account, device, and app determine the verification method
Section titled “Your account, device, and app determine the verification method”The first sign-in is an exception: it opens One-Time Password and uses the OTP issued by your administrator. After that first sign-in and Passkey setup, later pages can show methods based on your account, device, and app. See Verification methods.
After routine verification, your organization, the current app, or an administrator’s policy for your account may add face recognition.
